The applicant seeks a land use consent to upgrade the existing stormwater network from 30A-40 Millbrook Road as it is currently degraded and under capacity. The proposal involves the following works; • The installation of a new stormwater pipes ranging in size from 450mm, 375mm and 225mm in diameter. The 450mm and 375mm will replace an existing 300mm and the 225mm will remain the same. • The stormwater pipes will be installed by open trenching. • A new cesspit will be installed to replace the existing cesspit at 40 Millbrook Road. • Two new manholes will be installed. one to replace the existing manhole located within the shared driveway of 30, 1/36 and 2/36 Millbrook Road. • Both new manholes will be deeper to improve fall from 40 Millbrook Road. • Replace the existing outfall to the Oratia Stream • Installation of rock riprap protection around the new outfall. • A total of 172m³ of earthworks is required over an area of 76m². • Three she-oak trees are proposed to be removed. In addition, works within the dripline of vegetation is required to carry out the works.
