To support planned residential growth in Mt Roskill largely due to redevelopment by Kainga Ora, Watercare Services is proposing to i nstall a new 4.6km watermain Waikowhai Watermain which will provide increased water supply capacity throughout the network. The new watermain connects to the existing Waikowhai reservoir on 410 Hillsborough Road, the proposed Akarana Pump Station in the Akarana Go lf Club carpark and the Huia No 1 watermain at Penney Avenue and Richardson Road intersection.
