Electrix proposes to install a network main below ground level from an existing power pole to a proposed customer pit outside No.18 Paturoa Road, Titirangi. The proposed main and pit will be within the protected root zone of a kanuka tree growing within the road reserve. The works will also be undertaken within a Significant Ecological Area (SEA). Given the works methodologies, the adverse effects on the tree are expected to be negligible.
