The trees along great south road need to be removed for the construction of a shared user path as part of the Southern Corridor Improvements project in Takanini. The trees fall just outside of designation. Land owner approval or resource consent was not included in the construction c onsents approved in 2014. However, CPB does hold Engineering plan approval for the path extension which was approved in 2017 under ENG60258552.
