Which real estate agency sells the most in Crofton Downs?

New Zealand Sotheby's International Realty, named on 52% of the Crofton Downs sales that name a brand in the last 24 months, then Lowe & Co Realty on 17%. The brand is the one on the sale record, so an agent who has since moved agency counts for the brand they sold under.

How many real estate agents work in Crofton Downs?

29 licensed agents sold or listed a home in Crofton Downs in the last two years. Many more are licensed nearby: every salesperson and agent in New Zealand is on the Real Estate Authority's public register, and we list those whose office is closest further down this page.

How much does a real estate agent cost in Crofton Downs?

Agents in New Zealand are usually paid a commission on the sale price, often tiered (a higher rate on the first part of the price and a lower one on the rest), sometimes with a base fee, plus GST. Marketing is usually charged separately. Commission is negotiable: ask two or three agents who have sold in Crofton Downs recently for a written appraisal and their full fee, and compare them.

How do I choose a real estate agent?

Ask each agent for the homes they have sold in Crofton Downs and nearby in the last year, what they sold for against the asking price, and how long they took. Ask how they would sell yours (auction, tender, deadline or a price), what the marketing costs and who pays it, and who you will deal with day to day. Check their licence on the REA public register before you sign an agency agreement.

Do agents pay to appear on this page?

No. Who appears and in what order comes only from sales records and listings that name the agent, matched to the Real Estate Authority's licence register. Nobody can pay to be listed or to move up.
