Waste Solutions proposes to use an existing community space to establish a Community Recycling Centre for Central Auckland. The facility will be used as a drop off point for unused household items, which will either be incorporated into the education or retail component of the facility for upcycling, repair and sale, or removed to an appropriate facility for processing. The objective of the facility is to educate the public about waste minimisation. Site establishment works will be required.
