It is proposed to remove the subject tree due to location conflict with the surrounding footpath and private water infrastructure. Alternatives to tree removal have been explored but were dismissed as in this situation tree removal is the most viable long term solution with negligible environmental effects. Replacement planting of a specimen tree, will be carried out in an appropriate location.
